Audit us before you place the order

Buyers who cannot travel still need to verify who they are dealing with. Book a live video walkthrough of the line running your order, arrange a site visit, or ask for the audit criteria we apply to every partner mill.

What you can actually check

Questions worth asking any supplier, including us

These are the questions that separate a supplier who controls production from one who forwards your order. We will answer all of them in writing.

  • Who physically makes the product, and where? — name the site, not the country
  • Who owns the specification the line is running to? — ours, and you approve it
  • Who inspects it, and to what standard? — our QC team, AQL 2.5, with a photo report
  • What happens if the goods do not match the sample? — replacement or credit note
  • Can we have the inspection report before dispatch? — yes, before the balance is due
  • Who is the supplier of record if something goes wrong? — SOXMILL, not a mill you have never met

Why we encourage this

We will show you a line you did not ask about

A walkthrough is not a curated showreel. If you want to see the yarn store or the inspection bench rather than the knitting floor, that is what we will show you.

Verification without a plane ticket

Most of our buyers are in the Middle East, Europe and North America. A scheduled video call with production running reaches the same conclusion as a site visit, at far lower cost.

Audit access as standard, not as a favour

Third-party inspection and audit access are part of how we operate. We schedule production around the inspection rather than resisting it.

We will tell you what we are not

SOXMILL is a sourcing company, not a mill owner. If that is not what you want in a supplier, we would rather you knew now — and we will say so on the first call.

Frequently asked questions

Can we audit the production site?

Yes. Third-party inspections (SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas), a pre-shipment site visit, or a live video walkthrough of the line running your order — all available. We also share the audit criteria we apply to every partner mill.

Do you own the factory that produces our order?

No — and we are deliberately clear about it. SOXMILL is the brand and the sourcing entity of Beijing Haifu Supply Chain Co., Ltd. Production runs through a network of partner mills in China that we audit and qualify before a single order is placed. We hold the specification, the QC chain, the documentation and the commercial responsibility. That is the part most buyers actually care about: somebody accountable when something goes wrong.

Can I visit the production site in person?

Yes. Tell us your travel dates and we will match them to the production schedule so you see your product actually running rather than an empty floor. We will also be clear in advance about which site your order is being produced at.

How is a video walkthrough arranged?

Request a slot through the contact form or WhatsApp, tell us what you want to see, and we will schedule it against production. Usually 30–45 minutes with the production team present so technical questions get answered directly rather than relayed.

How do you control quality?

One accountable QC chain from yarn to carton: yarn lot inspection on arrival, inline checks at knitting, linking, boarding and pairing, then AQL 2.5 final inspection with a photo report on every shipment. Our lab tests colourfastness (ISO 105), dimensional stability (±3% after five washes), pilling (ISO 12945-2) and mmHg pressure for compression styles.

Which certifications apply to your production?

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, ISO 9001:2015, BSCI, SMETA 4-Pillar. Materials include GOTS organic cotton · RWS merino wool · GRS recycled polyester · bamboo, modal, combed and mercerized cotton · wicking polyamide blends. Certificates are shared on request, and third-party audits by SGS, Intertek or Bureau Veritas are welcome before shipment.
